Happy Birthday Tamara, my sister

July 6
Rain subsided but still overcast. Dave entertained us with an all day skiff excursion inside all kinds of bays. Saw some crab in eel grass in a shallow inlet so Karolina got out the fish net and started catching crab the Norwegian way. Went around another bend and saw seals playing and doing a mating ritual so we got out of the skiff on a muddy flat to watch. When the seals went under Anne spotted clams along the shore so we started digging up shells until we got enough for a meal.  Fished but only caught rockfish. Met travel writers Gordie and Cindy who shared lots of local knowledge including a bear mauling of a local guy yesterday.  Ended the day with a beach fire and roasted veggies and a seafood spread.  Don from Duncan came over for a quick visit to give his dog Maggie a  run.
I took a photo at 10pm of the shell beach in front of sailboat, very similar to photo at 10am.
