Sunshine and a sailboat

July 7
Sunshine appeared early and drew me out of bed. After coffee it was a morning of cleaning all the shell sand off the deck, dinghy and galley.  Then the crew took charge and skipper didn’t appear on deck all day.  Off to Dawson’s Landing but no showers as being repaired.  We headed deeper into Rivers Inlet. Past the water falling at Scandinavia Bay and into the end of Rivers Inlet. Because it was too deep to anchor we tied up to an old log boom at the old McTavish Cannery site which turned out to be a very stable anchorage.
